Five of Wands

General

The Five of Wands is about conflict and competition. In traditional tarot, the Five of Wands depicts five men fighting. And usually, this can talk about being strife and battles. But it can sometimes talk about friendly competition or conflict that may not be detrimental in the grand scheme of things. After all, life is full of ups and downs, and conflict is a part of life. We need to remember to keep a good perspective on the situation.

Upright

When the Five of Wands is in its upright position, this could mean that there is some conflict in your personal life, or that there is conflict that is about to occur. In love, this could mean that there may be competition for love, perhaps you and other people/situations may be in competition for the attention and love of your person. In career and finances, this could mean that you are in a competitive work environment or there is much conflict around. This could predict a toxic environment at work. This could also mean that there is financial issues or you are in conflict with others regarding money.

Reversed

In the reversed position, the conflict in your life may be dealt with in an unhealthy way. In love, this could mean that you are avoiding conflict and doing whatever you can to keep the peace. This may not be healthy for your relationship. In career and finances, this could mean that there is friendly competition and this is something that is not going to have a negative effect on your life. This could also mean that you would resolve the conflict in your career and finances, and that this would mean that there is some peace after a period of stress for you in the work place or regarding your finances.
