Knight of Wands
General
The Knight of Wands usually symbolises someone who is passionate, fast moving and ready for action. The Knight of Wands sometimes indicate someone coming into or leaving your life quickly, or it could mean that this is a period of your life that is moving pretty quickly. In traditional tarot, the Knight of Wands is on his horse and is seen ready to go and is the second fastest knight in the deck. He looks ready and determined to succeed in his endeavour and perhaps this is a reflection of you or the person you are enquiring about. In my depiction of the Knight of Wands, I see the Knight as a party animal, someone who likes to have fun.
Upright
The Knight of Wands is someone who is adventurous and depending on what you are inquiring about, mean different things. In love, I feel that the Knight of Wands often symbolises an offer of love coming in your way. A suitor is coming in to sweep you off your feet. This person is earless and courageous and ready for a new adventure with you. In career and finances, the Knight of Wands could represent someone who is passionate about their work. This could also mean someone bringing in a new opportunity or a business venture or you may be getting an influx of money.
Reversed
However, the knight’s qualities does have their down sides as well. This knight can be restless and someone who is non-committal. This knight can come in and bring you plenty of opportunities, or sweep you off your feet, but this knight may not stay around to build a life with you. In love, the Knight of Wands could be someone who has a “grass is greener on the other side” syndrome. They are always looking for something better. This person may be impatient and unstable. In career and finances, the Knight of Wands is someone who rushes through everything and someone who lacks direction. The knight may be someone who overspends and is unreliable. They like to party it up and don’t really like to deal with the consequences.
