The Queen of Wands is a boss babe to me. She is someone who is powerful and independent and in control. In traditional tarot, she is sitting on her throne and holding a sunflower, which symbolises happiness, satisfaction and fertility. She represents someone who brings life to ideas, and someone who is proactive. For some reason, I see her as someone who is very protective of her own (this could be her children, her ambitions, her family, or anything she calls her own). I see the Queen of Wands as someone who is fiery and passionate and someone who is not afraid to be alone, as long as she believes in what she’s doing.

Upright

The Queen of Wands can represent you or a person that you are inquiring about (or someone else on their mind). Regardless, you can read the Queen of Wands as someone who has what it takes to accomplish the goals she sets for herself. She is focused and determined. In love, this could mean that you or your person is independent and confident. This person is also open and giving, and someone who would stand by you and this relationship. She does not give up easily. In career and finances, this could mean that you or someone else is an inspirational leader and someone who is passionate about the work they do. It could also mean that you or someone else has confidence in making financial decisions, or perhaps this is a message from Spirit for you to be more confident in your finances and career.

Reversed

When the Queen of Wands is in reversed, there is a chance that you would be encountering obstacles when it comes to your progress. Sometimes, I see the Queen of Wands reversed as someone who is over protective, almost like a helicopter parent and a little suffocating. In love, this could mean that your person or you may be a selfish or demanding lover. Sometimes, I see this as a third party interfering as well. The Queen of Wands can sometimes represent arguments and jealousy and possessiveness. In career and finances, it is likely that you would feel a little burnt out. You may be met with a creative block or you may be inclined to overspend. There may be negative or toxic people around you in your workplace.
