Ten of Cups

General

The Ten of Cups is my happily ever after card, it is about emotional fulfilment and joy. And in some instances, I think about family when I see the Ten of Cups. This is a card representing harmony and happiness and is a pretty positive card to receive. In traditional tarot, there is a couple with their kids facing a rainbow and the ten cups. This represents the end of hard times and there are blessings coming in. The couple also looks to be in a stable relationship with all that they want in front of them. This is a peaceful image and the Ten of Cups invokes the image of having it all.

Upright

In the upright position, the Ten of Cups represents love, fulfilment and feeling whole. This is also about the end of a chapter, and this ending is a happy one. In love, this card represents marriage and building a life together. This card often speaks of having children together or combining families together (if you or the querent already has children). This card is about commitment and taking the next step, and this next step (or next steps) are leading towards something long term and lasting. In career and finances, this is about feeling quite content with your job or with your business. This could mean that you are building or have built good relationships with your co-workers and you are in a fulfilling job. This could also indicate financial stability and feeling like you have enough to support yourself for the foreseeable future. This is a card about feeling content.

Reversed

In the reversed position, the Ten of Cups may talk about how happily ever after may not be as great as you thought. It could be that the Universe is reminding you that there is no true happily ever after and you have to continue to learn and fight for the relationship/dreams that you want. In love, this could mean that you may be idealising this connection and this connection may not be living up to your expectations. This could also mean that you may not be feeling worthy of love and hence are subconsciously rejecting love. In some interpretations, it is possible that there may be meddling relatives or external forces affecting the relationship. In career and finances, this could mean tensions in the work place or isolation. This could also mean financial instability or someone in your family is draining your finances. It is possible that there could be disputes and arguments over money.
